Eurozone inflation slowed to 2.4% in February, down from 2.5% in January, according to preliminary data from Eurostat.
The slowdown was attributed to a decrease in the rise of prices for services and energy. Services prices increased by 3.7% in February, while energy prices rose by just 0.2% from a year ago.
