About 110,000 people in Cyprus have received the seasonal flu vaccine so far, including roughly 75% of those in vulnerable groups, according to Deputy Director‑General of the Health Ministry Elisavet Konstantinou.
She noted that uptake of the COVID‑19 vaccine remains low again this year, with only 3,800 people having received the shot.
Konstantinou said hospital admissions in both public and private facilities have doubled in recent days. Admissions to intensive care units, however, remain stable.
