Police officers filed 987 complaints regarding exceeding the speed limit, 163 complaints for failure to use seat belts by drivers and passengers, 12 complaints for failure to use a protective helmet and 185 complaints for using a mobile phone while driving.
In addition, 75 complaints were filed for driving under the influence of alcohol, 61 complaints for illegal parking, 20 for parking in disabled spaces and 1,312 complaints for committing other traffic offences.
Additionally, 26 complaints arose regarding drug tests, 40 car seizures and 14 two-wheeled vehicle seizures.
