FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – A 14-year-old Palestinian boy with American citizenship, Omar Mohammad Saadeh Rabee, was fatally shot on Sunday in Turmus Ayya, according to the city’s mayor, Adeeb Lafi Shalabi.
Two others were also injured in the incident, with one in critical condition and both receiving medical treatment at a hospital.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated via Telegram that soldiers had been conducting an anti-terror operation when they encountered three individuals throwing stones at a highway, allegedly endangering civilian drivers.
The IDF reported opening fire, resulting in one fatality.
