An alarm was raised early this afternoon at Larnaca Airport after a Fly One aircraft made an emergency landing.
Though not confirmed, initial reports indicate crew concerns about a suspicious passenger. The plan has been scheduled to land at Larnaca, but was diverted to a special area, near the old terminal.
Security measures were promptly implemented for the landing, and both the police and fire department were mobilized to ensure safety upon arrival.
The suspect was apprehended by members of the Larnaca Police Department and taken into custody.
