A new case of internet fraud is being investigated against a seventy-two-year-old man in Cyprus.
It is the latest case in a string of online scams and fraud reports on the island.
According to the complaint, unknown persons took a total of 95 thousand euros from the victim in a crypto currency scam.
Police in Cyprus are urging the public to be especially careful and not to trust strangers who promise quick and big profits.
