Police have issued detailed security and crowd‑management instructions ahead the Omonia–Apollon match at GSP Stadium in Nicosia.
The game will be attended by supporters of both teams.
Gates open at 4 p.m., and fans are urged to arrive at least one hour before kickoff to avoid delays. Late arrivals may be admitted after the match has started.
All spectators must present a Fan Card along with a valid match ticket. Children’s tickets will be checked, and ID may be requested.
Omonia supporters will use the west, north and east stands and are advised to approach via Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue and the traffic lights near the former Orphanides junction. Parking will be available in the west and north lots. West and north ticket booths will operate for Omonia fans only and will open at 5:30 p.m.
Apollon supporters will use the south stand and are advised to arrive via the highway roundabout near the stadium and Independence Avenue. Parking will be available in the south lot.
Police stressed the following rules:
- Entry is allowed only with a Fan Card and match ticket
- Flares, firecrackers and dangerous objects are strictly prohibited
- Alcohol is banned inside and outside the stadium
- Banners or clothing with political, abusive or provocative content are not allowed
- Graffiti in or around the stadium is prohibited
- Backpacks, motorcycle helmets and face‑covering items are not permitted
- Climbing stadium railings is forbidden
- Parking is prohibited along Fthiotidos Street after the third training pitch, and violations will be reported
- Anyone violating regulations may be removed without warning and may face arrest or fines
Personal‑item collection points for both sets of fans will be located at the west ticket booths.
Parking is also prohibited at the new Nicosia–Limassol highway roundabout near the stadium and on road shoulders in the surrounding area. Offenders will be cited.
Police said officers will be present inside and around the stadium to ensure safety and manage traffic during arrival and departure.
