FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE — Restoration work has been completed at the Panagia Chrysopolitissa church in Kyrenia, a historic site dating back to Cyprus’ Frankish period.
Located near Kyrenia’s old harbor, the church has undergone multiple renovations over the centuries, with the most significant recorded in 1783.
The latest renovation was funded jointly by the European Union and local contributors from Kyrenia and carried out under the technical supervision of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
