There is growing concern that the EU is President Donald Trump’s next victim in the ongoing tariff and trade war.
The Paris index fell 1.9 percent, while the Frankfurt index fell 2.9 percent. By 2 p.m., the Milan index had fallen more than 3 percent. In London, the main index fell 0.9 percent in afternoon trading.
The decline on Wall Street also continues after the introduction of tariffs.
