A presentation titled “Geotourism in Cyprus: Travel Differently, Experience More” will take place on May 17 at 11 a.m. at the Episkopi Paphos Environmental Centre.
Environmental geologist Konstantia Achilleos will outline how the island’s geology shapes its landscapes, including mountains, waterfalls and archaeological sites.
The talk will also explore links between natural heritage, local communities and cultural traditions. Organisers say the event aims to highlight how geotourism can offer more meaningful and sustainable forms of travel.
The presentation will be delivered in Greek and English. Entry is €6 per person and reservations are recommended.
