Tuesday weather forecast – 7th April

On Tuesday, the day will start mostly clear. By midday and into the afternoon, developing cloud cover is expected to bring isolated showers or a thunderstorm over the mountains, inland areas and parts of the southern and eastern coasts.

Winds will remain southwesterly to northwesterly, light at first and later moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. Seas will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to around 22°C inland, 21°C on the southeast and east coasts, 20°C on the remaining coasts and 11°C in the higher mountains.

Tuesday night will be mostly clear, though the western half of the island will see periods of partial cloudiness.

Winds will stay southwesterly to northwesterly, generally light at 3 Beaufort, and moderate at times along windward coasts. Seas will be slightly rough in exposed areas.

On Holy Wednesday, skies will be mostly clear, with increased cloud cover at times in the west. Afternoon cloud development may bring isolated showers over the mountains and the southeast.

On Holy Thursday, isolated coastal showers are expected in the morning and evening, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms likely over the mountains, inland areas and the southern and eastern coasts during midday and afternoon.

On Holy Friday, intervals of mostly clear weather will alternate with cloudiness. Temperatures will rise slightly on Holy Wednesday, then edge downward, remaining close to seasonal averages.
