A 48-year-old Turkish Cypriot woman was detained at Larnaca International Airport on Sunday after authorities discovered 65 cartons of undeclared cigarettes in her luggage as she prepared to board a flight to the United Kingdom.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of attempting to smuggle the cigarettes. She was later released after reaching a settlement regarding the fine to be imposed.
