Türkiye’s LPG imports fell 14 percent in November 2025

Türkiye’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports dropped 14.2 percent in November 2025 from a year earlier, totaling 288,528 tons, according to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority’s monthly sector report.

The report said refiners and distributors sourced the most LPG from Algeria, Russia, the United States, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

LPG exports also declined slightly, falling 1.1 percent year on year to 44,824 tons. Türkiye shipped LPG to 10 destinations, including Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Romania, Northern Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Lebanon and the country’s free‑trade zone.

Domestic LPG production fell 18.3 percent to 75,847 tons.

Total LPG sales by licensed distributors reached 317,131 tons in November. Autogas accounted for 83.31 percent of the market, followed by bottled LPG at 13.38 percent and bulk LPG at 3.31 percent.
