Police in Paphos have arrested two 36‑year‑olds in connection with a home burglary reported on January 26, authorities said Monday.
Investigators say jewelry, watches and cash were stolen from the residence. Evidence gathered during the inquiry led officers to identify the two suspects, and court warrants were issued for their arrest.
Police detained the woman on Sunday night and the man on Monday afternoon. Earlier in the day, the woman appeared before the Paphos District Court, which ordered her held for four days while the investigation continues.
The Peyia police station is leading the case.
