FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE — Two people were found dead in the same residential building in Alvesta, Småland, following an apparent shooting on Friday evening, according to Swedish public broadcaster SVT.
Emergency services were alerted after a man in his mid-30s was discovered with gunshot wounds in a stairwell. Authorities confirmed his death around 9 p.m. and have launched a murder investigation.
Several hours later, at approximately 1 a.m., police reported the discovery of a second deceased individual in the same building. Details surrounding the second death have not yet been released.
Law enforcement officials are working to determine whether the two cases are linked.
No arrests have been reported.
