FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – The United Kingdom remains fully committed to a United Nations-led effort to resolve the Cyprus issue, according to British Minister for Europe Stephen Doughty.
In a post on X following the informal multilateral meeting in New York, where Doughty represented the UK, he emphasized the goal was to make progress that benefits all Cypriots.
“I welcome the continued commitment of all parties to keep negotiations going and to work closely with the UN envoy María Ángela Holguín,” Doughty said.
