The fire broke out in a forested area between the two villages earlier in the day. Firefighters, soldiers, Civil Defense personnel, and Forestry officials worked together to contain the blaze.
A total of 49 emergency response vehicles were deployed, including three fire engines, eight water trucks, 13 firefighting vehicles, 14 water tankers, four command and control vehicles, three general-purpose vehicles, three bulldozers, and one helicopter.
Officials said efforts to assess the damage and monitor the area for potential flare-ups are ongoing.
