Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday he hoped for a “fair outcome” as the United States wants Ukraine to sign an agreement granting access to the country’s mineral resources.
“This is an agreement that can add value to our relationship, and the most important thing is to work out details that will make it work. I hope for a fair result,” Zelensky said without specifying which agreement, Reuters news agency reported.
After a series of phone calls with leaders of allied countries on Friday, Zelenskyy says Europe must do more to achieve peace.
Zelenskyy spoke with Germany, Sweden, Poland and Croatia on Friday.
