Two Israelis were arrested by the Israeli security service on Friday night, suspected of being involved in the bus explosions in Bat Yam, a few kilometers from Tel Aviv, on Thursday evening.
The two suspects have been transferred to the Shin Bet security service for questioning, but a court has ordered confidentiality regarding further details in the case, the Haaretz newspaper reports .
Three empty buses exploded, and another bomb was found landing before detonating in the nearby city of Holon. No injuries were reported.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered a military escalation in the occupied West Bank in light of the explosions, which are being investigated as terrorism.
