Larnaca International Airport received a “Highly Commended” distinction in the Best Airports in Europe category for airports handling 5 to 10 million passengers.
The award was presented during the 35th Annual Meeting and General Assembly of Airports Council International Europe (ACI Europe), held recently in Athens. Larnaca Airport, operated by Hermes Airports, placed second in its category.
First prize went to Vasil Levski Airport in Sofia, Bulgaria.
