A 62‑year‑old man has been arrested after allegedly setting fire to his own car, local media reported.
According to Alithia, a neighbor extinguished the blaze before firefighters arrived. The vehicle sustained significant damage, the newspaper said.
In a separate report, Alithia said a 36‑year‑old man was taken into custody in Limassol as part of an investigation into a Jan. 2 burglary. Police searching his home allegedly found a stolen safe and several expensive watches.
