FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – A knife attack in central Amsterdam left five people injured Thursday, including the suspected perpetrator, who has been arrested, police said.
The attack occurred around 3:20 p.m. near Dam Square, a popular tourist destination in the city center, close to the Dutch Royal Palace.
Authorities have cordoned off the area as investigations continue.
Police said the motive for the attack remains unclear.
They urged anyone with information or footage of the incident to come forward.
