A British couple in their 50s who were on a motorcycle trip around the world have been arrested in Iran.
Craig and Lindsay Foreman were reportedly arrested in January, but it was only this week that Iranian state media reported that they were accused of security-related offenses.
The couple, aiming to make it to Australia, entered Iran from Armenia on December 30, and the plan was to be in Pakistan by January 4.
According to the family, they were arrested in the city of Kerman in eastern Iran. Before that, they had been to the cities of Tabriz, Tehran and Isfahan with a tour guide, writes the BBC . .
