FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Authorities arrested a 21-year-old driver on the Nicosia-Larnaca highway late Sunday for speeding and multiple traffic violations.
According to police, members of the OPOD Headquarters stopped a vehicle traveling at 184 kilometers per hour, far exceeding the 100-kilometer-per-hour speed limit.
Further investigations revealed the driver was operating the vehicle without a driver’s license or a safety certificate.
The driver is set to appear before the Larnaca District Court on Monday for immediate registration of the case.
The Aradippou Police Station is continuing its investigation into the incident.
