As part of coordinated police operations in the districts of Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos, 36 individuals from third countries were identified as residing illegally in Cyprus.
All were taken into custody and their deportation proceedings are underway.
The operations of the Aliens and Immigration Service began early in the morning and lasted for more than eight hours.
