FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE— Cyprus continued repatriation efforts Friday with 24 special flights scheduled from Larnaca to Israel and Jordan, authorities said.
Fifteen flights were set for Israel — nine to Haifa and six to Tel Aviv. Another nine flights were bound for Jordan, including eight to Aqaba and one to Amman.
The “Safe Return” operation is assisting hundreds of Israelis currently in Cyprus.
Separately, maritime evacuations remained active. According to state broadcaster RIK, 22 boats arrived and departed from Larnaca Marina on Thursday, transporting approximately 150 people.
Since Sunday, 142 vessels have arrived from Israel, carrying more than 600 individuals to and from Cyprus.
