FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – A woman was arrested at Larnaca International Airport on Wednesday after authorities discovered 16 kilograms of drugs concealed in her luggage.
The seizure was carried out by the National Anti-Drug Enforcement Agency, acting on intelligence provided by the National Police Agency.
The woman was stopped for inspection upon arrival at the airport, where the drugs were found during a search of her belongings.
She was immediately taken into custody, and law enforcement officials are now investigating potential accomplices linked to the case.
