FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – A traffic accident in Morphou on Monday resulted in a vehicle crashing into a barber shop, though no injuries were reported.
The incident occurred when a saloon car driven by Fadıl Alpun, 78, reversed northward along the boulevard. The vehicle collided with another car, driven by Yavuz Doğan, 38, who was traveling west on the main road at the time.
The collision was attributed to driver error.
Following the impact, one of the cars failed to stop, instead continuing its path and smashing through the barber shop’s entrance, coming to a halt only after hitting an interior wall.
Authorities confirmed that no injuries were sustained, and investigations into the accident are ongoing.
