FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos has strongly condemned the recent atrocities in Syria, urging the Syrian leadership to take immediate measures to halt persecution and ensure a thorough investigation to hold perpetrators accountable.
Kombos emphasized the urgent need for de-escalation and the establishment of an inclusive and peaceful political process.
He also highlighted that the Republic of Cyprus has formally requested the European Union to take appropriate steps to address the situation and support stability in the region.
