Cyprus has condemned the recent attacks in Iraq that killed a French soldier and targeted Italian forces, the foreign ministry said on Sunday.
In a statement, the ministry expressed its “deepest condolences” to the French government, adding that Cyprus’ thoughts are with the families of those affected.
The ministry said Cyprus remains committed to efforts aimed at restoring regional stability.
