Cyprus Police and the NGO Hope for Children have held a training seminar focused on improving the identification and support of human‑trafficking victims, authorities said.
The session was organised by the Police Anti‑Trafficking Office and included presentations from representatives of the Legal Service, the police unit itself and a clinical psychologist.
Speakers outlined victim‑support methods, the legal framework governing trafficking cases and the responsibilities of law‑enforcement authorities.
Thirty participants attended, including staff from the Labour Office and the Social Welfare Services.
