FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – A 21-year-old man died shortly after midnight Tuesday following an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) crash in the Kissonerga area of Paphos, authorities said.
According to police, the victim, identified as Panagiotis Sihk from Kissonerga, was riding a four-wheeled motorcycle along Georgiou Michail Street toward Christou Kkelis Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle under circumstances still under investigation.
The ATV veered off course, first striking shrubbery before colliding with a parked car.
Sihk was rushed by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital, where doctors attempted to stabilize him, but he later succumbed to his injuries.
Traffic police in Paphos are examining the scene and looking into the factors that led to the crash.
