Hospital occupancy in Cyprus has exceeded 90% with patients hospitalized with coronavirus, flu and seasonal infections.
Yesterday, the first death of a patient from Alpha flu, who also had underlying diseases, was announced.
According to the newspaper Phileleftheros, another 87-year-old and a 73-year-old who were also suffering from underlying diseases lost their lives.
There has not yet been any official announcement regarding these two incidents.
A large increase in the number of patients visiting public hospitals, as well as increased admissions, has been recorded due to the RSV, influenza and Covid-19 viruses.
