Cyprus’ Interior Ministry has said that district administration offices will open on Saturday, March 28, to accept applications for voter registration and declarations from citizens wishing to vote at overseas polling stations for the May 24 parliamentary elections.
The offices in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and Famagusta (Paralimni) will operate from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On Thursday, April 2 — the final day for voter registration and overseas‑voting declarations — district offices, Citizen Service Centers and the Interior Ministry will remain open until 5 p.m.
Online applications for voter registration and for voting abroad will be accepted until midnight on April 2.
The ministry reminded citizens that all Cypriots aged 18 and over who have resided in Cyprus for the past six months are eligible to vote, provided they register by April 2.
No new registrations or changes can be made after that date. Young people turning 18 by election day may also register, as can Turkish Cypriots holding Republic of Cyprus ID cards with an address in the government‑controlled areas.
Voters up to age 25 may submit applications electronically via elections.gov.cy.
Printed forms are available at district offices, Citizen Service Centers, Post Office Citizen Centers and the Interior Ministry.
Overseas polling stations will operate in Greece, the United Kingdom and Belgium for voters registered by April 2.
Under election law, a station may be established only in cities where at least 30 voters from each electoral district express interest.
Declarations for overseas voting may be submitted online or in person at embassies and consulates, district offices, Citizen Service Centers, Post Office Citizen Centers and the Interior Ministry.
