Hotel bookings in Cyprus are showing signs of improvement, with May shaping up more positively, the head of the island’s hoteliers’ association has said.
Thanos Michaelides, president of the Cyprus Hotel Association, told CyBC radio that cancellations are slowing and new reservations are increasing.
He said bookings in March and April were down 42% compared with normal levels.
Michaelides added that Easter bookings remain below what is typical for the season.
