Inflation in Cyprus continued to climb in April, driven mainly by rising fuel costs, the Statistics Service say.
The Consumer Price Index showed annual inflation at 2.8%.
The sharpest increases compared with April 2025 were recorded in: • Petroleum products: +18.3% • Agricultural goods: +9.6% • Transport: +8.2% • Clothing and footwear: +5.2% • Food and non‑alcoholic beverages: +4.8%
Electricity and water prices fell 7.9%, the data showed.
