NICOSIA – Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides spoke by phone Sunday with Israeli President Isaac Herzog to exchange views on recent developments in the region and the challenges they present.
In a post Monday on the social platform X, Christodoulides said he emphasized the importance of de-escalating tensions, preserving stability and advancing prospects for lasting peace in the broader region.
