FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Average gross monthly earnings in Cyprus rose by 5.4% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year, according to preliminary figures from the Statistical Service.
Wages reached €2,509, up from €2,382 in the first quarter of 2024.
Seasonally adjusted data also showed a 1.4% increase over the fourth quarter of 2024, pointing to a continued upward trend in employee compensation.
Men earned an average of €2,689, while women earned €2,284.
On an annual basis, male earnings rose by 5.2% and female earnings by 5.5%.
