Parents and students staged a protest Thursday outside Limassol’s 7th Primary School, days after the campus was targeted by burglars.
Students boycotted the first two teaching periods in a show of solidarity and frustration over the incident.
Earlier this week, unknown individuals broke into the school and stole computers and other equipment worth thousands of euros. The theft sparked outrage among parents, who say the incident highlights growing concerns about criminal activity in the area.
Local families are calling for immediate action to improve security and address what they describe as a pattern of lawlessness affecting the community.
