The Republic of Cyprus passport was ranked 14th in the “Henley Passport Index 2025”.
According to the index, the country with the strongest passport in the world is Singapore, wrote Alithia newspaper, adding that the Republic of Cyprus passport provides visa-free entry to 179 countries.
The Henley Passport Index measures the extent of visa-free travel rights offered to passport holders of the country of entry, using official data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
