Tourist arrivals in Cyprus increased by 13.7% in May 2025, reaching 479,160 visitors compared to 421,400 in May 2024.
From January to May 2025, total arrivals reached 1,344,486, marking a 14.9% rise from the same period in 2024. The United Kingdom remained the top source of tourism, accounting for 37.4% of arrivals (179,150), followed by Israel (9.4%), Poland (7.7%), Germany (6.2%), Sweden (4.8%), and Greece (3.7%).
The majority of tourists—81.2%—visited Cyprus for holidays, while 11.1% traveled to see friends or relatives, and 7.6% arrived for business purposes.
