FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Tens of thousands of secondary school students across Cyprus returned to classrooms Friday morning as the new academic year officially got underway.
The first bell rang at 7:30 a.m. for students in general, technical, and vocational education. In a statement ahead of the reopening, the Government Spokesperson emphasized that this year’s focus will be on skill development, supported by updated curricula.
The Ministry of Education has signaled a shift toward practical learning and modernized teaching approaches, aiming to better equip students for future challenges in a rapidly evolving job market.
