FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – A construction worker was found dead Wednesday afternoon after an apparent accident at a building site in Limassol, police said.
Authorities discovered the body of George Konstantinou, 43, at around 2:30 p.m. in an elevator shaft of a building under construction in the Germasogeia area.
Konstantinou had been working at the site when the incident occurred.
The scene has been cordoned off, and investigations are underway by police and the Labor Inspection Department to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
