FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – A fatal work accident occurred in the Limassol District, claiming the life of 67-year-old Ioannis Nikolaou from Alektoras village.
While working on an agricultural plot in the Pissouri area, Nikolaou was driving a tractor when it struck thick olive tree branches.
The branches recoiled with force, hitting him in the chest.
Despite his cries for help being heard by a nearby farmer who called for an ambulance, Nikolaou succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transferred to Paphos General Hospital.
