Members of the Anti-Narcotics Service (ANS) arrested two young men, aged 18 and 19, in Larnaca on Monday afternoon.
The suspects were found outside a warehouse in an apartment building in Larnaca.
When approached by the police, they attempted to escape by pushing the officers but were unsuccessful.
During the arrest, a bag in possession of the 18-year-old fell to the ground, revealing approximately 819 grams of cannabis, 39 grams of methamphetamine, and a sum of money.
With the suspects’ written consent, the police conducted a search of the warehouse, discovering 24 grams of cannabis, three grams of cocaine, and a precision scale.
The two suspects were taken into custody, and the case is being investigated by the Larnaca Police Department.
