FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE — Two 20-year-old Indian men were hospitalized Monday after being assaulted by a group of unidentified individuals in Larnaca, police said.
The attack occurred around 2 a.m. in an area of the city where police responded to reports of a fight. Officers found the two men injured at the scene.
One suffered a broken nose; the other sustained head injuries. Both were taken to Larnaca General Hospital and admitted for treatment.
Police said the men were attacked by a group of unknown assailants. Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage to identify the suspects and determine a motive.
The case is under investigation by the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department.
