Cyprus Drivers Can Check Traffic Camera Fines Online

FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Drivers in Cyprus can now check and pay traffic camera fines online, streamlining a process that previously relied on postal notifications.

The system allows vehicle owners to search for pending violations by entering their identification and registration numbers.

It was launched to address more than 250,000 unserved fines issued between Jan. 1, 2022, and Sept. 30, 2024, and continues to update with new offenses. The website is at

To check for fines, users must input their ID or passport number and vehicle registration.

If a fine is pending, it appears instantly.

Failure to pay may result in criminal prosecution.

Drivers who were not operating the vehicle at the time of the violation are required to identify the actual driver. Failure to comply may lead to legal consequences under Article 21 of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Law.
