FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Police are investigating three cases of online fraud involving fake reward points that led to the theft of €37,000.
Two incidents were reported in Paphos district and one in Famagusta.
Victims received text messages claiming to offer loyalty points from a well-known fuel company.
After clicking the embedded link, they entered banking details that were later exploited to extract funds.
Authorities say the same scam method was used in all three cases.
