FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Registered unemployment in Cyprus dropped significantly in May 2025, reaching its lowest recorded level, according to data from the Cypriot Statistics Unit, Politis reports.
The number of registered unemployed fell by 9.6% compared to March 2024, totaling 7,378 individuals.
Seasonally adjusted figures show a slight month-over-month decline, with 9,708 unemployed in May, down from 9,729 in April.
