Cyprus warns of delays in international mail due to flight disruptions

Cyprus’ postal service has said that overseas mail will be dispatched only when flights are available, as widespread cancellations and schedule changes continue to affect airlines.

The Department of Postal Services said the situation remains “highly fluid,” with frequent disruptions to flight timetables.

As a result, delays are expected both in sending items abroad and in receiving incoming mail in Cyprus.

Officials said the adjustments are unavoidable given the current instability in air transport and will remain in effect until flight schedules normalize.
